Financial Adviser Carterbar is celebrating after every member of staff completed new qualifications demanded by the industry’s governing body. Team members at the company, which is based in Billingham, Teesside, have been steadily accumulating their qualifications to fit in with a programme introduced by the Financial Services Authority to substantially raise standards in the industry.
Now Director of Sales and Marketing Craig Dyball and Independent Financial Adviser Stuart Harris have successfully completed their final exams, making it a clean sweep for the team.
Craig said: “We are delighted that everyone has completed these qualifications. However, that does not mean the end of our learning. Qualifications are important because they mean that we are constantly updating and improving our knowledge but we will continue to develop our skills.”
Stuart said: “This is such a rapidly moving sector, it is crucial that companies like ours constantly seek to learn in order to give our clients the best service possible.”
Managing director Arthur Dornan said: “When the new qualifications were announced, we decided to get them well ahead of the closing date at the end of this year. Our team completed it a year ahead of time and we are delighted with the achievement.
“As a company we are committed to continuing professional development in order to keep up with the changes in the sector. By doing that, we can offer the very best service possible.”
Carterbar, which is based at Manor Way, on the Belasis Business Park, in Billingham, specialises in investments, pensions, mortgages, life assurance, income protection and medical cover.
