at The Cathedral Church of St Nicholas in Newcastle accidentally dislodged part
of a 400-year-old artwork in the St George’s Chapel, smashing six priceless
figures.

Aegies Associates hit The London Times

As the PR company responsible for the announcement and unveiling of The Very Rev Justin Welby as the new Bishop of Durham Designate, Aegies Associates have been very busy over the last couple of weeks.

St Aidan’s Church of England Academy, in Darlington, will be going sports-mad during a week of events organised to celebrate the Olympics.

The Academy will stage sports week between June  13 and 17, which will focus not just on sports but on the tenets of the Olympics movement, which are based on respect for human dignity, the joy of effort and participation, the educational role of good example and mutual understanding.

The new Bishop Designate of Durham was announced today – on Ascension Day, one of the most important days in the Christian calendar. The Very Revd Justin Welby is currently Dean of Liverpool where he was appointed in December 2007. 

Well, its been another interesting week so far. I am writing this from a London bound train, off to meet the Ambassador of the UAE and another meeting later on. 

Yesterday I presented a workshop for NOF Energy on 'Improving Your Marketing Activity'. This was to a small but hungry group of business leaders and marketeers. The workshop focused on coming up with novel & creative marketing activities and campaigns to improve the process of the Marketing Communication Process.

A North-East recruitment company has expanded its team once more as it takes advantage of a growing trend towards appointing permanent staff in some industrial sectors.

A new Lead Teacher of English has been appointed by St Aidan’s Church of England Academy in Darlington - and she is aiming to make sure students are excited about the language.

Louise Lancaster was appointed having spent two years at the Hundens Lane academy as literacy co-ordinator.
