North-East financial adviser Carterbar will be the ball sponsor for this Saturday’s big FA Vase Trophy game between non-league football club Billingham Synthonia and Bournemouth FC.

The company, which is based on the Belasis Business Park, in Billingham, Teesside, and whose offices are not far from Synthonias’s ground, announced last year that it would be the main programme sponsor for the forthcoming season. The company sees the deal as an important part of its responsibility to the local community.

Managing Director Arthur Dornan said: “We are delighted to support Billingham Synthonia through our sponsorship of the programme and sponsoring the ball for this Saturday’s home game is an extension of that. It should be an exciting occasion.”
